Innovative Knee Extension Device

The Knee Works Device is at the forefront of knee rehabilitation equipment. Engineered to provide active-assistive range of motion (ROM), it empowers patients to participate in their recovery actively. The device works effectively during the early stages of healing, helping prevent disorganized scarring and adhesion formation associated with arthrofibrosis, a common complication after surgery.

Versatile Models for Every Need

User-Friendly Design

Each model of the Knee Works Device is designed with user experience in mind. The Models 100 and 200 include a seat belt-style belt and a gear box with an easy-turn handle to maintain knee positioning hands-free. Fully adjustable and portable, these devices cater to various body sizes and ensure proper alignment with the joint's inherent motion axis.

Tracking Progress With Precision

A key feature of the Knee Works Device is the built-in goniometer, which accurately monitors joint range of motion. This ensures patients and therapists can track progress throughout the rehabilitation process effectively. By utilizing our device, users can stay informed about their recovery and make necessary adjustments for continued improvement.

Knee Flexion / Extension

Knee Works is intended to be an effective alternative to constant passive motion devices (CPM) and other rehabilitation tools used early in the healing process. It is affordable, functional, and portable to be used at home and in the clinic. Its simplicity helps the orthopedic surgeons rehab team better manage their patient’s recovery.  Models 100 has a built in goniometer that can be used to monitor joint range of motion including a gear box with easy turning handle to free your hands and keep the knee in flexion or extension for a longer period of time. More importantly, the Knee Works can be used to alter the dysfunctional muscle memory that can only occur when the patient is an active participant in their recovery.

Testimonials

Physical Therapist Specialist and patient thrilled with results of the Knee Works 300

I recently had my second knee surgery. I have never recovered from knee replacement surgery faster than I did thanks to my use of the KNEE WORKS.  Just a few minutes each day, and at my own pace.  I found that I was both strengthening my leg and improving my range of motion quicker and easier than I had previously.

My physical therapy specialist was thrilled with my results – and so was I.  I highly recommend the Knee Works to anyone looking for an effective in-home post-surgery restoration device.

Surgeon likes that equipment is priced so that patients can purchase

The Knee Works provides substantial improvement in dealing with knee problems. The machine allows the desired degree of flexion and/or extension. The equipment is easy enough to understand and inexpensive enough that the patient who uses it under the direction of a therapist has the option to purchase a unit for continued use at home.

Motion Restore Device has been outstanding additions to clinic

Both upper and lower MRD’s have been outstanding additions to my PT outpatient clinic. They are wonderful supplements to my manual therapy and other PROM/AAROM/AROM activities post knee surgery and injury. They are easy to use and do not take up much space. The patients love it as it gives them control over the extension and flexion knee stretch. The Physical Therapist can setup the patient on the machine and let them work on ROM for a specified time. The goniometer allows the patient to get feedback on degrees of progress.

Knee Works accelerated recovery

I had two knees replaced, six months apart. The Knee Works was one of the best part of my Physical Therapy and really accelerated my recovery. Because I had complete control over how far I could push the lever on the machine to get maximum bend, I did not worry about the pain, so I was not tensing up. I think being in control made me progress faster because I could ease back if it became too painful. I think the Knee Works really accelerated my recovery.

User of Knee Works as follow up care

After experiencing osteoarthritis knee pain in both knees, I had the Synvisc injections for the past three years. To maintain my knee joints and assure full rotation, I exercise the knees with weighted knee strengthening exercises and to assure full knee rotation, I also use the Knee Works. After an extended “mall type stroll” or sitting in a confined space for any extended period of time, I will occasionally feel a slight “burning” behind the knee when I rotate the knee rearward. This sensation will totally disappear when I use the Knee Works!

I use the Knee Works Everyday For Flexion and Extenstion

I have had both knees replaced, left 2017 right 2019. I am 76 and very active, I ski on average 50 days a year and mountain bike 2-3 days a week plus work out with weights. Over the years my flexion has gotten worse, to the point I could hardly bend my knee 90 degrees. It was starting to hinder my recreation. I bought the knee works model 100. I use it almost every day and am up to 110 degrees soon to be 120. I have an older model and it broke, John was on it immediately. He sent me a new bar that would not fit the older version so he sent me the entire newer version. There product works and they stood behind it. Good company and good people.

The Knee Works allowed me to accent my physical therapy

I recently went through two knee replacements eight weeks apart.  The amount of pain I was in made it unbearable and I just had to bite the bullet and get it done.  There was a great deal of apprehension on my part as I’ve been active all my life and the thought of being laid up for months was one that was not very appealing to me.

As I prepared for my surgery, it was very clear that a great surgeon and exceptional physical therapy are critical components to knee replacement success.  I had a great surgeon, I had an exceptional physical therapist, but I also had a diamond in the rough and that was The Knee Works Model 200.

The Knee Works allowed me to accent the physical therapy I received, and I have no doubt this machine significantly reduced my recovery time.  Having the ability to control my leg movement on my own simply by rotating a lever, increased my range of motion daily as I used this device.  I was in control.

Having The Knee Works in my home was a blessing.  It’s only been three months since my second knee replacement and I’m walking great, able to work out and even swing a golf club.  There is no way I could have done this without The Knee Works.

This morning, I was 137 ROM on my right knee and 132 on my left knee.  My physical therapist said it might be difficult to get to 140 so need to prove him wrong.

THANK YOU, Motion Restore!!!
